It could be caused by a number of things, including intestinal parasites, recent change in diet, poor diet, stress, or some other problems.
Unless he has had a recent diet change then you might want to take him to the vet. If the vet can’t find a problem, consider changing to a better or different dog food. If none of this works, use the cork as suggested above.
